The projects being brought to life by Emerald Village Exercise and Recreation are vital to our community health and happiness. These recreational areas are gold mines for the community and a place for connections to be made and maintained. As a relatively new resident of the area since 2019, Puffing Billyplayground has been where I have met other mums with my young toddlers, forged friendships and felt the early flickers of belonging to a community. As my toddler sons grow bigger I want them to have places to go to be active, to meet their friends and weave their own strands into the community web. As a dog trainer I know that having well designed and dog friendly recreation areas dramatically improves the quality of life for the canines in our community and their families as well. I can't wait to see the end results of EVER's work and support the effort wholeheartedly!
